Forestry Mulching and Land Clearing
Forestry mulching is an environmentally friendly way of removing vegetation.
This is accomplished with a machine that uses a rotating drum with teeth on it to turn unwanted plant life and vegetation into mulch. This can be a much more cost effective and green way of land clearing than conventional methods using a bulldozer and heavy equipment.
The byproduct of land clearing this way is using the plant life to re energize the soil with nutrients. This will raise the PH and lower the acidity level of the soil. This process does not pierce the soil or disturb the natural contour of the land, it simply grinds the vegetation down to top soil level.

Brush, Shrubs and Small trees will be ground into mulch that will be left as a covering on the soil. This covering will help stop erosion and slow the process of new growth. Once the mulch decomposes there is usually just small native groth and grass growing through that can be maintained with a conventional lawn mower.
Forestry mulching also helps maintain a healthier forest. By removing the underbrush there will be less stress on the trees and root systems. This will allow more light into the forest floor. Another great reason to forestry mulch will be to reduce the tick population.
1250 Ground Works uses state of the art equipment to do your project in the most efficient manner possible. If needed we will use an excavator to remove any larger logs or move rocks and remove any debris. We will then use the forestry mulcher to clear away the unwanted brush.
